Matthew Bender was born in Lancaster County, PA, and earned a degree from Antonelli Institute of Photography in Philadelphia, PA. Select exhibitions include a two-person show at Schneider Gallery in Chicago, the exhibition 'Space' mounted by the Griffin Museum of Photography in both 2016 and 2017, and the Photo Review 2017Competition. He currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.
