Helen Cahng is a curator, artist, and exhibition designer whose practice is built on collaboration and storytelling through spatial design. She received her MFA from Otis College of Art and BFA from The University of the Arts.
Helen is currently the Curator of Exhibitions at Philadelphia International Airport. Prior to joining PHL airport, her experience includes over 25 years producing exhibitions at The Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA), The Fabric Workshop and Museum, and Art Center College of Design. Select exhibition design projects include Designs for Different Futures at PMA, and Designing Motherhood: Things that Make and Break our Births, an award-winning book and exhibition which debuted at Philadelphia’s Mutter Museum in 2021 and has since traveled to Boston, Seattle, Stockholm, and Houston. She is the recipient of a Leeway Foundation grant and a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts award. Her artwork been exhibited locally and internationally at The Art Alliance, NEXUS Foundation for Today’s Art, Sea and Space Explorations, Telic Arts Exchange, Artillerie Gallery (Berlin), and Koh-I-Noor (Copenhagen).
