The expression of femininity in painting is inherently expanding through the introduction of new media technologies. As an artist working across painted and new media productions, this exhibition explores virtuality as a means of enhancing environments, creating new space for painting through augmented encounters. From the complexity in the slightest of touches, to the threshold bordering the lines of perception as immersive involvement, the inspiration for these artworks is a capturing of causal interactions. Making accessible the subtleties in communication across the many circles of Asian Women, and the implications of these in the discussion of affections in a broader society.
