Founded in 1983 (then as the Creative Artist Network) by Felicity R. “Bebe” Benoliel, CFEVA supports the professional development of Greater Philadelphia's emerging visual artists. Today, their innovative programming serves more than 400,000 individuals annually, including an extensive network of more than 1,500 artists and growing. Now in their fourth decade, they are committed more than ever to providing relevant, impactful programs that support, equip, and position Philadelphia's local visual artist community as a valuable contributor to our region’s vitality, cultural identity, and livability.

In this art sale, The Center for Emerging Visual Artists is delighted to showcase an array of work by our Visual Artist Fellows, Finalists, Artistic Advisors, and Alumni of the program. For 40 years, through fellowships, residencies, educational outreach, exhibitions, professional development, and city-wide events, the Center for Emerging Visual Artists (CFEVA) has provided Philadelphia artists with the tangible resources they need to develop truly sustainable careers. In turn, those creatives provide all of us with imaginative, inspirational opportunities to engage with and be uplifted by their artwork, across the city.
