Julianna Foster lives in Philadelphia and teaches at The University of the Arts, Photography Program and MFA Book Arts and Printmaking Department, where she received her MFA in 2006. Foster was an artist member of Vox Populi Gallery in Philadelphia from 2006-2013, where she had four solo exhibitions, From Morning On, Kirkwood, Swell and most recently a three person exhibit titled Relic. She has also participated in Vox group exhibitions in New Orleans, London and New York. In addition to her individual ventures, over the years she has collaborated with various artists on projects that include creating artist multiples, artist books and series of photographs and video.
Foster has exhibited nationally and internationally and is included in various collections. Her latest work Swell, was included in Dark Matter issue of Conveyor magazine, Proof Magazine, photo essay and the current issue of Cleaver Magazine, winter 2014.
