Jaime Alvarez was born and raised in Puerto Rico and works as a photographer and artist in Philadelphia. His work has been exhibited in New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Toronto, amongst other locations. Several of his pieces reside in collections such as Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin, Rhode Island School of Design, and other large collectors. He can be seen documenting parts of the United states with his camera, or in his studio creating small vignettes to be photographed.
